Alice Isn't Dead

A new fiction serial from the creator of Welcome to Night Vale, Alice Isn’t Dead follows a truck driver in her search across America for the wife she had long assumed was dead. In the course of her search, she will encounter not-quite-human serial murderers, towns literally lost in time, and a conspiracy that goes way beyond one missing woman. The complete Part 1 available now. Part 2 every other Tuesday until August 8. Performed by Jasika Nicole. Written by Joseph Fink. Produced by Disparition. Part of the Night Vale Presents network.

This is going to be a weird question, but if you already finished the recording and editing for next episode could you release it early, even a bit?

My cat died and I am sad. This show makes me feel better about life. It's helped me feel better about the world. I don't know why, it's terribly dark, but I know that it has.

Maybe it is because it's so well made and true to life, except for the monsters that aren't just people.

    Maybe it's the good writing.

Maybe it's because Jasika Nicole has a voice like Amy Winehouse used to, but with more cigarettes and sexy butter. (Is that appropriate to say? Whatever, fuck it, my cat just died.)

Anyways, it has always helped me feel better: so consider this a thank you for it being uploaded ever, at all, and especially for a second season. You rock as people.
